Sandwick Under 5’s
Run on Thursdays 09:30-11:30.
Sandwick Under 5’s has a lovely room which is dedicated to them which has craft materials, toys, books, jigsaws etc, as well as a games hall full of soft play, slide, balance bikes, scooters, ride-on cars and more. The building is situated right beside the play park so we like to get outside as much as possible. There is always something going on at Sandwick Under 5’s including visits from book bug, the play van, and pre-school play.
All pre-school children and parents/carers are welcome. We love to meet people from Sandwick and also the wider community. Everyone is welcome. The kettle is always on.

Sandwick Youth Club
Sandwick Youth Club is split into two age groups
Juniors (P4-7) 18:00 – 20:00
Seniors (S1+) 20:30 – 22:30
These groups are run every Friday during term time in there very own dedicated area of the Sandwick youth and Community Centre.

Sandwick Sailing and Boating Club
‘Established in 1896, Sandwick Boating Club is one of the longest running sailing clubs in Shetland. Operating out of the picturesque setting down at Leebitton, the club is always keen to welcome new members. The club puts a significant focus on the development of junior sailing, with anyone over the age of 10 enjoying the opportunity to learn to sail a Mirror Dinghy. With a small fleet of larger dinghies, the club can also cater for adults. The season generally runs from May to September, and, as always, is weather dependent!
